There are many people who are against war.

A figurative use of the word "guerra" is also used when children are restless and keep bugging their parents: Los niños están dando mucha guerra.

An for the English, the word is easily remembered as the origin of guerrilla, 'little war'

Pero en inglés "guerrilla" significa guerrillero.
