Estar en todos los fregados
This means that you´re always in the midle of everything, good or bad. There is a party , you´re there, there´s a demonstration you´re there. There is a public speech you´re there. There is a protest against sth you ´re there too. There is a wedding, a funeral and you´re there.

:D En México se dice "ser el ajonjolí de todos los moles"... y de un tiempo para acá es "ser como la coca-cola: siempre en los grandes eventos".

Robin - I'm not sure that there is one particular English phrase that expresses what you're saying. For people I know like that, I would simply say that "s/he is always in the middle of whatever is happening", but that doesn't necessarily mean "big events"..... |

A finger in every pie. That's great! I really like that one. I think that it still misses the sense of being physically present at every major event ... but it certainly indicates that someone is involved in such a variety of activities that you are always seeing their name on everything.....

I have heard a more negative way of saying this:
He's like everywhere like dogs--t. ;) |
