Hello!

I need help in translating a message which I received lately. I do not know Spanish and automatic translators are insufficient.

"Matenme informado de tus proyectos relacionados con las Cantigas y si en algo puedo ayudar, no dudes en proponerlo."

I was seeking, and found that "Matenme" could be understood as "Kill me". However context suggests some different meaning.

Please, help me.

The person who sent the message made a typo... The correct word is "manténme". "Keep me informed about your projects related to the Cantigas and if I can help, don't hesitate to ask me".

No, the man who wrote that sentence is from Spain, I suppose.

The word Mantenme doesn't mean that he asking you the death, on the contrary he's asking you that you should keep him noticing about the business that you have with him.
