Happy Halloween!!

:D Happy spooky day to everyone.. eventhough we don't celebrate it a lot here in Holland, I'd like to wish everyone in the USA and Canada especially a happy Halloween....  :lengua: :D :balloons:

By the way for those of you that still remember me (vaguely...:o) la chica poco loca de los Paises Bajos..: I'm sorry that I have been out of touch for a while. There have been quite a number of things that have kept me more than a little occupied the last month or so (in the good and not so good sense), but I have missed quite a few of you quite a lot. :( :worried:

So I really hope that now that things have been settled a bit more again (hopefully.. eventhough it will still be busy) I will be able to spend more time here and getting back to Spanish.

Looking forward to seeing more of you again. :) :p

Saludos desde Amsterdam :D :rose:

yay Happy Halloween!

on halloween eve eve (the day before Halloween eve) we watched a video about Día de los Muertos

Elaina October 31, 2009 07:27 AM

Here in Mexico exist the two celebrations, Dia de los santos, and the Halloween, really it happened because, as Mexico is near of the U.S.A is the tradition of the Mexican people, therefore, I believe that both celebrations are wonderful and very fun in the parties.

Today is November 1st, and it will soon comes December and continue the Christmas.

Jessica November 01, 2009 02:49 PM

Don't forget Thanksgiving :D

lee ying November 02, 2009 09:58 AM

croalito, you're wrong , because in mexico we don't celebrate halloween.. I am really sure about it.. we called it , Dia de loas santos angelitos .. that was yesterday,, And Today is El Dia de los muertos.. Halloween is a traddition from USA.. Am I right? =)
it's rhe custom to bring flowers to the panteon And stay in the panteon at least until the night. in your country this has finished , right?

CrOtALiTo November 02, 2009 10:30 AM

Not, I don't believe is wrong.

Because I have lift all my life in Mexico and the guys celebrate Halloween likely in the schools where is celebrated it, beforehand I'm completely sure that am well, because I have seen it, I have seen the guys celebrating the day, here in October 31st, I don't in that part of the Republic you life, but I can be sure that it's celebrate at least here in the south.

Jessica November 02, 2009 11:42 AM

Well most Mexicans would celebrate Day of the Dead

CrOtALiTo November 02, 2009 11:44 AM

Yes, but here most Mexican celebrate Halloween too

Therefore I don't see anything bad in that celebration from U.S.A, in the same way it can used here in my country.

Mexicans do not fear the dead, they embrace it ;)

irmamar November 02, 2009 01:23 PM

Don't be frightened from death. It's not so bad. I know it. Once I was almost dead, I had a cardiopulmonary arrest because a leak of gas. A nurse revived me and I started shouting at him because I felt so well that I didn't want to come back. I felt as if I were inside me, I can't explain. But that was the most pleasant experience in my life :)

lee ying November 02, 2009 03:44 PM
