I hope it's for the good. (Usually augmented with a prepositional phrase, like of the community.)
I hope it turns out (well/fine/OK).
I hope it works out (well).

No quiero que cambies, pero si cambias, que sea para bien.
= I don't want you to change, but if you do, I hope it's for the better.

Esperemos un cambio que sea para bien de todos.
= Let's hope for a change that will be to the good of all concerned.

Espero que sea para bien de nuestra amistad.
= I hope it's for the good of our friendship.
= I hope it makes our friendship better. (more common)


I hope it's for good.
= Espero que sea para siempre.
