revista (feminine noun (la)) — magazine. Look up revista in the dictionary Casi siempre hay revistas en la sala de espera de la oficina de un doctor. There are almost always magazines in the waiting room of a doctor's office. |

Um, I hope no one minds if I change the direction of this conversation.........
Anyway - doesn't "periódico" also mean magazine? |

Magazine = revista = + or - leaflet (not exactly) but that's what a magazine is, a big leaflet that cannot be confused by a newspaper. Correct? |
CORRECT! I was mistaken in my memory! (This happens a lot lately!) Yes, I remember now that I learned newspaper as "periódico" and that is DEFINITELY a difference. :)

ni siquiera nata montadita... I cabbot help it, there are even people who say that libido and sexuality are the most natural thing in the world. Go figure. But I like to play with words and spice up the minds of people and see if the stiffness, many a time desired and sought, goes away, even for a moment. |
