Una conversación con una guardián hoy!!
Esta tarde, tuve una conversación completa con un guardián de una estiante en español! Una conversación comleta! Estoy tan feliz! La conversación tenía algúna sustancia. Estoy tan feliz! Entendí casi todo que ella dijo ... y ella entendió mis respuestas y sus respuestas demostraron que me entendió. Estoy tan feliz! :)

But..But ... my Spanish pronunciation is probably worse than yours and I barely speak it  |
And there probably aren't many native speakers near where you live, are there? I don't know what to tell you about the pronunciation ... because actually, I only get coached on my pronunciation when I speak with friends/students/etc. who are native speakers and they tell me that I'm stressing the wrong syllables. (sigh....)
If you're really enjoying learning Spanish, you should look for a summer-study-abroad opportunity to live for several weeks in a Latin American country or in Spain, etc. They say that LIVING in the culture, even for a few weeks, would improve my usage a LOT! Also, I don't know if you saw a post a couple of months ago about using a certain website to practice listening skills. Take a look at this: http://www.laits.utexas.edu/spe/index.html - it has helped me more than anything else with my listening skills! |

From now on, I am not answering you if you have written English. I will answer in English and you answer in Spanish. Ok? :):D |
Algunas veces, Hernán....... el problema está que paso mucho más tiempo cuando escribo en español, y algunas veces no tengo el tiempo. YYYyyyyy ... a veces tiene más sentido para escribir en Inglés ... para hacer mis preguntas claras para mi.......

Well, I think I remember you giving some advice to someone else about total immersion and you do not even want to dip not even one of your toes? :wicked: At the beginning you will spend more time doing this, but as time goes on (passes by), you'll be better. As a matter of fact, none of what you are doing now, you were doing, what? 7 months ago or so... So the sooner you start, the sooner you'll be more proficient in Spanish. Ha! Listen to me giving advice to a teacher... :wicked: :whistling: ok, 'nuff said. |
Felicidades, Lou Ann. Has dado un gran paso :) :rose:
