Tongue Twisters are a great way to help you learn Spanish!

Tongue twisters or Los trabalenguas are a great way to learn Spanish mejor. They are fun and you learn vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar etc. etc. Feel free to post some of your favorite Spanish Tongue twisters.

Poco a poco Paco Peco poco pico.

Paco Peco, chico rico,
insultaba como un loco
a su tío Federico;
y éste dijo: Poco a poco,
Paco Peco, poco pico.

Si yo como como como,
Y tú comes como comes.
¿Cómo como si yo como como comes?

I have another contribution with your post, I hope you can say this trabalenguas.

Paragaricutirimicuaro.

With this trabaleguas you almost need to repeat it around ten times, so you will can see if you're able to pronounce it like a great Mexican people.

Good luck.

Have fun.

me acuerdo de una trabalengua muy simple que oí por primera vez
en el caribe - "tres tristes tigres".

Cloudgazer November 09, 2009 01:13 PM

El pobre perro de Pedro Rodriguez se perdió.

Aquí hay una trabalengua que un amigo me dio para que pueda practicar las eres y las erres. ¡Qué diviértanse!

I heard this one yesterday. I'm quoting it from memory, so I hope I get it right:

"Pablito clavó un clavito.
Un clavito clavó Pablito.
¿Qué clavito clavó Pablito?"
