I think that he's wanting to say ( Later of the great shock )
He let the shock behind.. I haven't a better translate for the phrase. We should to wait to some native speaker English for that he can gives us the correct translate. |
I think we need a context. It is something like:
he (she?) took his shirt off so that the fresh air could cool the fright he just had.:thinking: |

I agree with you.....in both instances. |
cool the fright is fine. Forget the start.

I'm with Robin
He/she was nervous. He tryes to refresh himself to regain calm. "Necesito aire para que se me vaya el susto", meaning I need air (I need to breathe) to keep the fright away (to be calm again) The start, with the "camisa", it's only one of multiple way to "have air" another example: "dame con el abanico para que con el aire se me vaya el susto" "voy a salir fuera a ver si con el aire se me pasa el susto" Saludos :D |
Many thanks .I think this is the idea "cooling after being frightened ".Thank you

That's the idea
you're welcome. :D |
