Translating on a MAC-use of accents
My family recently purchased a MAC, I'm trying to figure out how to assign short cuts to my keys so I can type accented vowels. The program package that came with the computer includes Pages instead of Word.
I've worked on a PC for years, and I know that by going to insert/symbol I can get my accented vowels. Is there anything similar for MAC? No-one I know has been able to help me. Does anyone know how to do this? |
maybe if you use google or some search engine they will tell you??

MacIntosh
- Option key + e, and then “letter to be accented” Example: Option key + e, then “o” → ó/Ó - Option key + n, and then “n” → ñ/Ñ - Option key + u, and then “u” → ü/Ü - Option key + 1 → ¡ - Option key + Shift + ? → ¿ - Shift + Option key + 2 → € Expanded accent codes and foreign symbols for Mac: Lista expandida de acentos y símbolos extranjeros para Mac: http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/i...s/codemac.html :) |
