I think you can say : he pushes my buttons
or more literally: he puts me on edge

You can say "he rubs me up the wrong way"

"Pushes my buttons" to me is something positive, not negative

That's interesting. The meaning changes in UK. Over here "pushes my
buttons us alway bad" On the other hand "rings my bell" is very positive.
