Hello everyone. My girlfriend will celebrate her birthday very soon, so I thought it would be nice surprise for her, to write a SMS in the morning in spanish language. She very like's spanish language, so i hope you will help me. :) The text would be " You have been the best part of my life, and I hope that it will stay like this forever. Enjoy this day. I love you"

I know I know, it's fulsome text :p , but I think it should work :D :D So, please, can someone help to translate this text into spanish?:hmm: Thank you.

P.S. I hope there won't be other topic next week, when some girl will ask to translate spanish text into english, and text will be very similiar to this :D:shh:

Eres la parte mejor de mi vida y espero que quedes así siempre. Que disfrutes este día. Te quiero.

I'd propose: "Eres la mejor parte de mi vida y espero que siempre sea así. Que disfrutes este día. Te quiero."

In a variation of SMS language they'd write: Ers la mjor part d m vda y spero k smpre sea asi. K disfrutes este dia. TQM (short way for "Te Quiero Mucho"). :)

Poli prke pones que? Todos saben ke en SMS es ke,kiero,etc.

More seriously, "que quedes así siempre" is "that you remain as you are forever", which isn't quite what the original said. "que siga así siempre" would be closer to the English "that it will stay like this forever".

I'd say: "Eres lo mejor de mi vida", it's more common in Spanish. Also: "eres lo mejor que me ha pasado". :)

"te amo" vs. "te quiero"... Does it matter?
Also... is "me amas" the correct way to ask "do you love me"?

"Te amo" is more intense than "te quiero"; that's why some people find it too mawkish, but both are valid between people who love each other. :)

Pleas you can take my example for your girlfriend, although you can send her the message that you have had written before.

Can you please give a translation to your text, CrOtALiTo? Yesterday i knew only 3 or 4 words in spanish, but now I almost think, that I understand what you wrote :D But still, can you write a translation? ;)

Hey, one more thing. :D I don't really know why she called me "bocadillo" several times, because now i know that it means sandwich :D But the thing is, i would like to write at the end of my SMS: " your sweet sandwich" :D She will like it, that's for shure :D So i'am asking for your help one more time :) what's te best way to write these 3 words? :)

Maybe it's because she would eat you (in Spanish "te comería"). It's common to tell "te comería" to a baby or to your partner. ;)
