This song was written in 1940, and not all of it was posted. An English (and a French) version of the song (not a translation) can be found on the internet, if that's of any interest.

Thats a complicated song to translate for me because I'm not sure whats referring to what. It uses Usted and It (Argentina) and I can't differentiate when Argentina is the subject and when usted is the subject. And it is also all poetic which makes life hard.
after reading it a few more times, I think usted is the subject in most of the lines. So I more or less get it now. |
