Hi I'm new

Hi I'm new

found this site last night. I've always wanted to learn to speak Spanish but didn't have anyone to help me. Thought this might be the way to go. I'm a 48 yr. old sahw. I have three grown sons, one adopted daughter (really my niece) and 1 grandson with a new grand baby coming in June. I'm disabled, can't get around too well. I love family and my Church family. Like sewing, quilting, gardening, canning, doing puzzles, knitting, reading.

Wow! Sounds like you're about to embark on an adventure! I think that you will REALLY like the crowd here on Tomísimo. I have learned a LOT here. I started attempting to teach myself Spanish last Fall (October, 2008) and any and every question I have is answered thoroughly here on the forums. I have certainly made some good "online" friends. Bienvenida a los foros!!

Canning? You didn't just make that up because it's funny on a language forum to talk about the verb "to can" and see who corrects you? ;)
