¿haber o estar?

how do you correctly say she may have been taking long on purpose? I got tal vez/quizá ha estado tardando a propósito. (i DO believe the subjunctive should b used also)

I would say:Tal vez está demorando a propósito.
o a lo mejor está demorando a propósito.
Quizas sabe que nos tiene eperando.
There's other ways too;)

In my opinion the sentence is correct. You can use the subjunctive, as well: quizá haya estado tardando a propósito. To express possibility you can use both indicative and subjunctive (when the probability is very big, you'll use indicative and vice versa).

Hi,

One uses the subjunctive when the doubt is very high and the indicative when one is more sure.

Espero que te sirva

Saludos
