I need spanish desktop!
Hello friends,
I live in Chicago.I am doing a project in Spanish language. So i need to type thesis in Spanish. Is there a way to change my desktop language from English to Spanish?I did it once but can't seem to remember how. Please help me. Thanks! |
There is, but I can't remember. Another possibility exists if you are using MS Word. I have a UK keyboard, but can type all Spanish characters in a Word document using shortcut keys. For example, I type ñ when I press Ctrl + n. For accents, I type á if I type Ctrl + ' followed by a.
If these shortcuts are not already set up, they are easily programmed by the user. :) Edit: If you click on 'insert' then 'symbol' the box of characters will give you the shortcut keys if already there. |
If you go into your control panel, then "regional and language options", then the "keyboards and languages" tab, you can "add" a Spanish language keyboard. Then, while typing, you can toggle between keyboards using "alt+shift" on the left side of your keyboard.
