tener muchos aspectos positivos, but that's a direct translation from

Yes. Both phrases in red correspond. But, Dar mucho de si (mismo), is different. Well, many will consider it a positive point/good aspect (a virtue), many don't.

In Mexico is very widely used, but mostly for material things.

"Dar de sí" = estirarse

Like when new shoes are a bit too tight and after using them for a while they are already comfortable.

En inglés tenemos que usar has positive points(or aspects). Tenemos
use usar el tono de voz indicar si es un cumplido o el acto de encontrar algo positivo en una cosa imperfecto.
