If it's the Smith family - los Smith.

But if you mean the 80's rock band, then I reckon it should be The Smiths - but since the Spanish change Queen Elizabeth to La Reina Isabel - then it's probably los Smith too:mad:

¿Cómo se escriben los apellidos en plural?

Family names don't change:

Los Pérez
Los Simpson
Los Smith (But "Los Smiths" for the music band, to please xchic) ;)
...

Is it/that right?

In Spanish, el apellido no cambia.

The Arjonas. The Garcías. The Rodriguezes.

Erm, shouldn't 'the Smiths' be 'los Herreros'?

Sorry - couldn't resist, I'll me get me coat!

The feminine side of the surname seems to have gotten a strong hold of the family. (as always)
