No te hagas de rogar

IS there a saying in English for this ?
To implore sb to do sth

Beg = implorar,rogar
Pray = rogar, rezar

Don't make me beg for my life.

I will make you beg for your life.

Another expression for hacerse de rogar is play hard to get (usually in the context of relationships).
If a person plays hard to get he or she pretends not to be interested, to make the other person try harder.

Para mí eso sería "hacerse el/la interesante". ¿Para ustedes no?

Oye, ¿se te está yendo la vista? :rolleyes:

No, it doesn't work. It doesn't even make sense.

No te hagas de rogar. = Don't make us beg you.

And it also means what María José suggested:
Don't play hard to get.
