Se vende muy bien

ROBINDESBOIS April 18, 2010 05:28 PM

Se vende muy bien

IS there in English an equivalent for " se vende muy bien" referring to people"
e. g .: He sells himself very well. = meaning that he knows how to sell himself to the rest of the people by cheating or whatever.

We say it the same way.

He sells himself very well. (by deception or not)
He paints a pretty picture of himself. (deception usually involved)

Right - and perhaps with no deception, "He puts his best foot forward.",
like in a job interview, etc.

It depend of you're trying to give understand in the phrase.

I selling myself well.
It sell itself very well.

It has a great offer and it's sold very well.

I want to understand the phrase, but anyhow it depend of that you really want to say out there in the phrase, you would have gives it more sense in the phrase.

Regards.

Claro que sí, pero Robin escribió when referring to people.

Cuando el dicho se refiere a gente se vende bien significa hace una
buena presentación aunque pueda ser la superficie nada más.
