Hi all,
I'm an English writer, based in the Czech Republic. I learnt Spanish while living in Ireland. I had a lingua cambio with the lovely Theresa and within three months, I could hold a reasonable conversation in Spanish. I asked Theresa to only use Spanish with me - and it worked. We spoke English for one hour, then Spanish for one hour. There were times when I didn't understand, but we shrugged our shoulders and she tried a different approach. I would definitely recommend this approach to anyone hoping to learn Spanish (or any other language).
