Buenas tardes!
My name is Jacqueline and I live in America. I have joined this site because I was to become more fluent in Spanish. I have taken Spanish all four years of high school and I am currently taking it in college.
I find the Latin Culture and Spanish Language very interesting. I can read it just fine, but my writing and speaking abilities aren't very good. So I am hoping with joining here that I will be welcomed and encouraged to speak/write Spanish and get tips on how to improve in the language. :) |
Hola Jacqueline, Hope you enjoy the site - it's a great place to learn;
everybody is either a teacher or a student at any given moment... What college/university are you attending? Hermit |
bienvenido

Just I have a friend named so. I bid you welcome to this website, I hope that your stay in the forums will be enjoyable. Now if you would need to help with the language, please you don't hesitate to ask us then. I'm in the same situation like you, because sometimes I can write well the language and sometimes I can't, really I don't know why. Have good day. |
Bienvenida :D
|
Gracias a todos. Me sienta muy bienvenida :D
I think that is said correctly |
"Me siento" ;)
Welcome Maravilloso :) (or Maravillosa?) :D |

My teacher calls me maravillosa in class. But I like the way maravilloso sounds more:D As for siento, I thought the "o" changed to an "a" because I am a girl  |
Verbs don't have gender, but nouns and adjectives (and not all of them):
He: me siento contento y feliz. She: me siento contenta y feliz. :) |

Bienvenida.....
es correcto decir que eres "maravillosa" porque eres mujer pero si tu quieres ser "maravilloso" que no se diga mas.....eres "maravilloso" :whistling: |
Hey. You could to use the word Explendido sound much better.
|
Well, espléndido would sound much better. ;)

Doesn't that mean brave? or something like that  |
@maravilloso: it means "splendid", "magnificent", "superb".
