!Hola!

Hola mis nuevos amigos! Thought I would join to keep my spanish sharp (como un espalda mua ha ha). My grammar is TERRIBLE, so feel free to correct me. I am currently studying in Spain, so I will try and answer all of the odd ball questions I can, and if I don't know, my host family will!

Awesome! What part of Spain are you in? I'd love to visit Spain sometime. :)

So, Welcome!

¡Hola!

¡Bienvenida! My name is Brenda and I am fairly new to the forums myself. Yes, what part of Spain are you in? How long will you be there? I would love to visit Spain some day.

Welcome chica!

I am staying with a family in Alcala de Henares. Its about 40 min away from Madrid (nice city, but I wouldn't want to live here). I highly recommend visiting.

Would Madrid be a better place to live? Oh, and welcome btw. :D

No. Its nice and all, but its one of those places you visit, not one that you live in in my opinion. I would go with Pamplona or Barcelona, though I haven't spent as much time there as here. it depends on your tastes though. Im into fresh air and open spaces, but if you like city life, Madrid is nice. Feel free to give it a whirl for yourself! Spain IS beautiful, even if I do happen to complain about it a bit.

Do you know anything about working in Spain? Are there any options for a US citizen to legally work in Spain?

griffinqueen November 05, 2007 12:34 PM

For sure! Ive met several Americans working here. I would talk to the Spanish Embassy about getting a workers visa.

bienvenidas
