I am going on vacation

Jessica June 09, 2010 05:22 AM

I am going on vacation

I am leaving this afternoon and returning June 18th. I will still find time to come on here though.

we're going to Harrisburg first. we are mostly going on this vacation to visit colleges (like Yale, Harvard) for my older brother. boring.

Enjoy your trip. Driving through New England is nice especially if you dad decides to get off I-95 which sometimes gets very congested. The Merritt Parkway is a good alternative. Boston and New Haven are interesting places to visit, but I think you may have rain on the way there.

Have a nice trip! :D
visiting other places it's always interesting. try to learn something about the land you're going.

I'm in Harrisburg right now, in a hotel

JPablo June 09, 2010 11:42 PM

¡Vale, disfruta de tu viaje! :)

CrOtALiTo June 10, 2010 01:18 AM

Jessica. I wish you the best in your vacations.
And enjoy your trip meanwhile.

Please you don't leave to visit us when you're back.

Take care.

Jessica June 10, 2010 12:56 PM

thanks

I am in Philadelphia now....:P

JPablo June 10, 2010 04:06 PM

You're welcome!
Are you able to go see the "Liberty Bell"? (I believe it is there, in Philadelphia... "the city of brotherly love" "la ciudad del amor fraternal")
¡Disfruta del viaje! :)

Elaina June 10, 2010 04:12 PM

I've never been to that part of the US before but I hear it is exciting and nice to drive through.

Try to enjoy as much as you can. Your brother will be away to college come fall and believe me, you will miss him....it might not seem that way now.....but you will.

Have fun!

No actually we are in New Jersey now. :p I wished we did have the chance to see it

JPablo June 10, 2010 05:30 PM

I see!, you are going pretty fast! (Well maybe on the return trip?) (I've never been on the East side of the US, except the New York airport, for a few hours... but I take it must be a fascinating zone to 'explore'...) Well, enjoy the views! :)

Jessica June 10, 2010 06:31 PM

yeah we are. we spent one day in Harrisburg, the next day we went to Philadelphia (to visit the University of Pennsylvania), and the same day we got into New Jersey. I believe tomorrow we are going to Yale and after that New York.

ROBINDESBOIS June 11, 2010 02:28 AM

It´s a great idea to narrate your trip, stopover by stopover, next time , I´ll do the same to delight you all. I usually make nice trips.

Jessica June 11, 2010 04:59 AM

I was wrong again, we're going to Princeton not Yale

CrOtALiTo June 11, 2010 06:16 AM

Then you already are traveling in severals states inside of the United Stated, it sound funny.

Well, (I am answering in reverse order) at least you'll be right about getting to the Big Apple! :)

I see... well, I hope you enjoy the neo-gothic buildings of that university... I love these Ivy League Universities... I've never been to one, but I've seen their pictures... somehow it reminds me the Gothic Neighborhood in Barcelona... which I definitely know rather well.

CrOtALiTo, I've edited your post, figuring out what you were trying to say. I hope I did it right. (Let me know if any question, or clarification...) ;)

Jessica June 11, 2010 03:30 PM

I think I am in New York....

JPablo June 11, 2010 03:53 PM

Okaaaay! How do the Big Apple taste? :)

Jessica June 11, 2010 05:13 PM

we're in our hotel, and we aren't really going out until tomorrow.

also we had some bad luck. we left some things in the previous hotel. -_-

JPablo June 11, 2010 05:29 PM

Ooops! I hope you can phone them to keep these things for you?? (Or am I dreaming about the good nature of mankind?)
