Debiendo - Use in a sentence?

Hi all!

I understand "should". Can someone explain how debiendo would translate to English and give me a sample sentence?

Thanks!

por ejemplo

estoy debiendole a joanne al menos tres dolares

'I am owing to joanne at least $3'

Deber also means 'to owe' so one good translation is 'owing', but in the sense of 'should', it might be translated like this:

This is kind of a contrived example, but it works.

Debiendo correr 20 km, siguió hasta deshidratarse.
Since he was supposed to run 20 km, he kept on until he was dehydrated.

Good citizens must fulfill their obligations, having to present the declaration of the rent annually. (you can say the should present their rents)
saludos :D
PD: deber : to owe, its another different meaning
