Cultural fabric

Cultural fabric

How do you translate this "cliché" into Spanish?

¿Estructura cultural? ¿Esencia cultural?

¿Why not literally "tejido cultural"?

I was about to say, that it sounded to me a bit 'literal', but I see that Moliner gives, Se usa también en sentido figurado: ‘El tejido industrial. El tejido social’.

So, yes, that would be a definite option.

In my context, I think I need something more obvious, based on the sense of "framework; structure: the fabric of society. Or maybe more elaborate, such as "la trama y la urdimbre cultural" or "el material constitutivo de la cultura" "la sustancia cultural" "la textura cultural" "los elementos culturales básicos"...
At any rate, your option is definitely very valid. Thank you! :)

I would use banalidad.

One of Tomisimo's translation of platitude is perogrullada. Rae's definition of perogrullada coincides with cliché, but I am nearly sure that nobody would understand you if you use the term perogrullada.

Which is the relation between cliché-perogrullada-banalidad and "cultural fabric"/"tejido cultural"?

Cuerpo estructural
Fabrica estructural
Estatua estructura

Those are the clichés that I can imagine.

Comprendo... gracias por el cumplido... :)
Juventud, divino tesoro, te vas para no volver,
cuando quiero llorar no lloro, y a veces lloro sin querer
