Hola a todos. Soy nueva a los foros y nueva ha hablando Español como un adulto. Practico quando puedo y con cual quier persona que puedo en mi vecindario.

Mi familia es Puerto Riqueña, pero no lo hablabamos en mi casa... (oh, dear. The dictionary couldn't help me here. I tried "growing up" and "childhood".)

Estoy tratando (otra vez) hablar en ingles y español con mis hijas, pero esta vez ya yo lo ha hecho por tres semanas. Este sitio web me esta salvando. Con mis nenas, digo cosas en español primera, y los repito en ingles despues.

Okay, my brain is now fried and I must continue in English. Just the speaking is tough for me, writing at this point is a nightmare, lol.

I'll primarily be a lurker, but wanted to say hello and thank you for the help you've already given and for the help you'll give in the future with your posts.

"tratar" needs to be followed by "de". ... tratando de hablar.
