just curious...is any verb with an ing ending have to be translated to have endo or ando to mean the same in spanish

example: hacer - to do
haciendo - doing

I'm not very sure if you need in English or Spanish verbs.

Yes, you can translate a -ing form into a "gerundio", but it depends on the grammar of the sentence. For instance:

I like swimming - Me gusta nadar.
I am swimming - Estoy nandando.

In continuous tenses you'll be able to translate an -ing form into a "gerundio". :)

What irmamar taught is correct, but you need to understand why and when to use the gerundio.
Where irmamar left the verb in the infinitive form, she was trying to show you how the English gerund is used in Spanish. Do not confuse the English gerund with the Spanish gerundio. They are not the same.

Yes I didn't see my own spelling Yendo.
Although that word end in Endo.
