¡Hola a todos! Nunca puedo presentarme muy bien jeje. Perdóname por favor. Vivo en los Estados Unidos y he estado acusado de hablar Spanglish. I'm really trying to changed this because it gets very annoying, not only to the listener but to me as well. No es porque no sé las palabras que quiero decir, pero porque, de vez en cuando, me siento muy lazy. Bueno... sometimes it's because I don't know certain words.

He estudiado español desde hace 5~6 años, más o menos, a intervalos, pero cada día aprendo algo más. I am far from fluent -- just scraping intermediate it feels.

There is nothing wrong with mixing languages. On the other hand, if you want to improve/perfect your Spanish abilities, that's a worthy goal as well. Welcome! :D

He practicado el cello desde yo era joven.
Practico el fútbol que se conoce como "soccer" a los americanos. Jeje no creo que hay muchas chicas que practican fútbol americano, por lo menos no en serio. C:

Muy bien. Fantástico. He marcado correcciones en rojo y sugerencias en azul.

"Yo" como pronombre, no es necesario usarlo. (Only for emphasis... otherwise is not needed.) (If you meant "since I was young", as a kid, you should say, "desde que era niña" or "desde que era pequeña", ie., if you started when you were 6, 8 old. If you say "joven" gives the idea you started cello when you were about 17 or 18 or even up to 29, if you are older...)

The other suggestions "haya" "practiquen" are the subjunctive forms, which are more used when you say express your belief. :)

Si quieres afianzar más tu conocimiento del castellano, léelo y escríbelo. Verás que errores tienes que corregir y al poco tiempo de hacer esto, te vas a sentir más segura. :)

La aspiración y la motivación son muy importantes en aprender la lengua. Usted tome las dos. Le deseo que va a convertirse todas sus ganas en realidad.

Le recomiendo un programa especial para repetir las palabras (busca google para "anki") y una lista de palabras más frecuentes del español. Así va a saber todas las palabras que necesita en muy poco tiempo.

Our motivation and ambitions are very important in language learning. You have both of them. I wish you to make all your desires to become true.

I recommend you some computer program for spaced word repetition (search google for "anki") and some Spanish word frequency list. This way you will learn all words you are missing now in no time.

Yes but you don't watch the CNN television, because sometimes it result very hard to understand them, already they use much words in clave or some kind of word about politic.

Better you can watch more movie without subtitles that's better.
