Need help with quick translation

If I wanted to say, "They have been married for 48 years," would I write:

Están casados para cuarenta y ocho años.

or

Estaban casados para cuarenta y ocho años.

or

some other construction that is eluding me?

Llevan cuarenta y ocho años casados.
