Just a couple of questions regarding this translation.

1. Is it understandable?

2. Anything that can be corrected/improved?

Original:
And, yes, these four grim riders are still astride their pale horses.

Translation:
Y, sí, esos cuatro nefastos jinetes todavía cabalgan a horcajadas de sus cadavéricos caballos.

O (con una metonimia)

de sus cadavéricas monturas.

I'm not sure where the writer of the original got the idea that all four have pale horses. It should only be one of them. So it could be that, as you suggest, he thinks that the horses are skeletal, but it's hard to be sure.

A horcajadas "sobre" o "en"; "de"... :thinking: ;)

estoy con pjt33, quizás el escritor original pensaba que todos eran delgados/cadáveres, por lo que tu traducción está bien.

I believe the original just makes a reference to them, but more on the 'conceptual' side, without paying much attention to the actual physical look of the horse. I think he uses "pale" for its chromatic value but also on his connotation connected with "grim"... (My subjective view... I guess it's arguable)

I used 'cadavérico' because in Spanish it means "very pale", although the first impression is that of "skeletal" but as a symbol of Death...

I believe the 'exactness' of the physical concept is not as important as conveying the same 'feeling' of death and/or 'impending death'.

On a google search "sobre" takes the cake, then 'en' and then 'de'. But seems that all of these prepositions are used around the web...
