Introduce = Presentar

Introduce = Presentar

I learned to introduce someone as follows:

Te quiero presentar Antonio. Why te quiero and not yo quiero?

It all depends on the person you are talking to (not Antonio)

Te quiero presentar a Antonio = Quiero presentarte a Antonio (you singular)
Les quiero presentar a Antonio = Quiero presentarles a Antonio (you plural -Americas-, you plural formal)
Le quiero presentar a Antonio = Quiero presentarle a Antonio (you singular formal, he or she)
Os quiero presentar a Antonio = Quiero presentaros a Antonio (you plural -Spain-)

There are three people involved in the sentence: I (subject) would like to introduce you (direct object) to Antonio (indirect object).

Except that Spanish switches the verb around, so it's: I (subject) would like to present Antonio (direct object) to you (indirect object).

"Te" is translating "to you". It's not necessary to use a pronoun for "I" because it's already there in the ending of "quiero", but if you wanted to emphasise your role you could say: Yo te quiero presentar a Antonio or Yo quiero presentarte a Antonio.

(Note that both forms are a bit ambiguous - it depends on intonation to distinguish between introducing you to Antonio and introducing Antonio to you).

Yes commonly I use introduce when I'm introducing something in my own text or post, when I'm going to present to some person, I use this phrase.

I present you to Ana.

I don't know that is my style of present or introduce something.
