What does dove mean?
I'm quite suck because in my English class today, I saw a new word for me and for the pupils.
Dive- What does it mean? What is the preterite verb of the word. Thank you very much for your contribution. |
"I'm quite suck" ??? Did you mean "I'm quite stuck"? (me quedo bien confundido)
dive (verb) dive, dived (or dove), dived (present, past, past participle) The boy dives headfirst in the water. (present tense) The boy dived headfirst in the water. -or- The boy dove headfirst in the water. (past tense) The boy has dived before. (perfect tense - have+past participle) zambullirse tirarse al agua sumergirse bucear |
Rusty answered your questions, but additional as a noun, "a dove" refers to "una paloma" and "a dovecot" is "un palomar". ;)

Thank you for advices.
Zambullirse Bucear Sumergirse Tirarse al agua Dive-dived-dove, I got it. Thank you. |
Better, as Rusty said: dive, dived/dove, dived:
To dive into the pool. He dove into the pool or he dived into the pool. He has dived into the pool. :) |
