Fargo was not a true story

Can you please translate into grammatically correct Spanish:

FARGO WAS *NOT* A TRUE STORY
(as stated in the opening scene of the original release.)

All characters appearing in this work are fictitious.

Hello, c627627. This forum is not a free translation service, but a place to help those who are learning Spanish.
If you are learning, we encourage you to post your own proposal first, and we'll give hints and corrections on it.
We can't help if you provide an online translation copied and pasted.

Oh, I'm sorry. I am trying to get this grammatically correct and I do actually need hints and corrections on it.

• FARGO WAS *NOT* A TRUE STORY
(as stated in the opening scene of the original release.)

All characters appearing in this work are fictitious.

• FARGO *NO ERA* UNA HISTORIA VERDADERA.
(Como es indicado en la escena inicial de la version original.)

Todos los personajes apareciendo en esta pelicula son ficticios.

Not bad. I marked corrections in red and suggestions in blue.

Thank you kindly.

(as stated in the opening scene of the original release.) is more of a clarification/continuation of the first part of the sentence.

Why is it correct to end the first part of the sentence then capitalize "as stated":
(Como se indica en la escena inicial de la versión del estreno original.)

Oh, if you put a period at the end of the first statement, then you "start" a new sentece, then you have to capitalize it. If you don't put the period, you can keep it lower case.
