I am a lifetime northern us resident who has relocated to deep south texas and for this reason I yearn to be fluent in spanish. Also I now have mexican american inlaws who only speak spanish.

Welcome. Your best lessons will come from interacting with your inlaws. They'll be happy that you're trying to learn to speak their language. They'll teach how something is said, but most likely won't know how to teach the grammar behind what it.
