Trouble doing searches
I have experienced trouble doing searches in the forums. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.
For instance, today, I wanted to do a search to see if there have been discussions about using the word "still". When I did a search, it came back no matches. Everything I've tried to search on has come back with that. I leave the defaults as they are and just type the word that I'm thinking will appear in either the title or somewhere in the body. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! Aha! After creating this new thread and creating another one asking my question about the word still, I did another search. It still came back "no matches found". It should have at least found my two, right? |
After reading your comment, I noticed that some threads will show other similar threads. You must look in the bottom of the page when you open a particular thread.
Did I just confuse you? Elaina:confused: |
Yes you did. I don't have any threads open. I'm trying to find a thread about a particular subject (still in this case). The search comes back and tells me there are no threads matching my search parameters. Is that any clearer?
 |
yeah me too, i'm having the same difficulty.

how can i find the information i need and understand it as well?

Brenda, that's really strange, and I'm not sure what's going on. I'll get in touch with the makers of the forum software to ask about it.
