More or less I want to say:

Si un hombre es privado o desposeído de algo por el rey, tendrán (los 25 barones) un plazo como el de los cruzados.

If a man is deprived or dispossessed of somenting by the king, they will have a deadline as the Crusaders.

It makes absolutely no sense to me. Period, deadline or installment seem meaningless in context. :thinking::thinking:

To be honest, I don't think the underlined can be shortened without losing the sense. It is succinct enough as it is, and respite seems quite appropriate. :thinking:

= ... for the same amount of time commonly allowed ...
