hi guys

i know that al is a contraction of a + el and basically means "to the" but i've been using this Spanish learning software and they use it like this:

so why would you use quedarse instead of just quedar, surely quiero quedar means "i want to stay"

reflexive verbs always seem a bit confusing :(

i know he's saying he wants to stay at Atlético Madrid but why did he use me quiero...

that certainly makes things alot clearer particularly with the quiero ir and quiero que because although i knew quiero que signalled the use of the subjunctive i wasn't sure...

i've done a bit on the subjunctive, i know how to conjugate in it (well the present subjunctive) but i'm never quite sure when to use it

Tips for remembering vocabulary

has anyone got any tips for trying to remember new words.

thanks for the corrections, what's weird is about half an hour after i posted that it suddenly occurred to me i should have used está.
