Saying "don't make me..."

is it correct to translate this meaning of "to make" as hacer? Would it correctly translate to "no me hagas...."?

What are some ways to correct yourself in speech?

Se hizo - to become(?)

I saw this in a number of sentences and came to the conclusion thats what it means. is this an idiomatic expression? and to mkae it "i became" would i just make it "me hizo"?

Why is the se necessary? Does the sentence not make sense by just saying:

Voy al mercado donde venden manzanas

The use of "Lo" in the following sentence...

"Eso no es lo que acordamos."

I don't understand why this is used here. It seems to work without it. Any explanations are greatly appreciated. thanks!

Hay Que to mean "it is necessary"

Can I use just a simple "hay que" by itself to say "it is necessary" in response to someone? or say, use it in the negative "no hay que"?

Placement of a direct object when using a compound verb

I'm a little confused on this usage. I want to say

I am sad that Peyton Manning has left Indianapolis

Indianapolis being the indirect object, would it be correct to say:

estoy triste que...
