cáscara - feminine noun (la) - peel, crust, husk, bark, shell, rind. Look up cáscara in the dictionary

Existe una clase de aguacate que puedes comer con cáscara.
There's a variety of avocado that you can eat without peeling it.

But is there no catch? ¿No tiene truco?... Nunca he tenido paciencia para las adivinanzas... Pero quiero saber la respuesta, please , pretty please. I love using these things in class, and some of my students are really good at working them out, but of course, I always have the answer key...

Es la mazorca o el elote. No sé cuál de las dos palabras se usa en México. En Centro América, es el elote. La planta se le llama maíz y creo que todos usan esa palabra. (An ear of corn (corn on the cob).)

Choclo is used in South America. Pastel de choclo is a very popular meal in Chile. Pochoclo is popcorn (palomitas) in Argentina .
