Lo means "eso" or "esa cosa". This is a common construction in Spanish. ![]() Edit: Sorry, I didn't read the tittle of the thread: Pensaré en alguien más a quien le podría gustar venir (o al que le gustaría venir). ![]() Last edited by irmamar; June 13, 2011 at 04:31 AM. |

The meaning of that is not clear to me, and I would never ever think that it might mean "I'll think about who else might like to come". That sentence in English could be:
Voy a pensar en más gente a la que le gustaría venir Pensaré en a quién más le gustaría venir at most Pensaré en lo de qué personas les gustaría venir About the sentence in the mail I suppose a context of a surprise birthday party or something, and it might be "I'll try to figure out who he/she would love to meet at the party" or something like that -I don't know how to render powerful estuviera in English, as it exceeds "to be"-.

That is exactly how it should've been written in Spanish. The subject of the post could've read: I'll think about who else he might like for them to come to the party. ![]() |
