I agree with Rusty: "un número de respaldo" would sound weird to me.
However, the common expression I've heard for a second telephone number is "número de teléfono adicional" (in writing) and "¿tiene otro número de teléfono donde lo podamos contactar?" (when spoken). ![]()

I think that "un número de teléfono alternativo" is good, because is almost the same as in portuguese "um número de telefone alternativo". it's nice, isn't? Gracias y un abrazo! (obrigada e um abraço!) Jan |
