A must

"When the advertisment says that you must speak English, it's not because you're going to need it to do the job but it's what lots of companies are doing at the moment. They say to speak English is a must but only to reduce the number of people that apply for the job. It straight away disqualifies lots of people."

"Cuando el anuncio pone que hay que hablar Inglés, no es porque se va a nececitarlo para hacer el trabajo sino es porque muchas empresas lo estan haciendo de moment. Dicen que hablar Inglés es un prescindible pero solo para reducir el numero de personas que pueden solicitar para el trabajo. Directemente descalificar muchas personas"

Para reducer el número de aplicantes, muchas empresas ahora requieren que todos los aplicantes hablen ingles.

Good job! Here are some hints to improve it:

Use "por el momento"). Dicen que hablar Inglés (We don't write the names of languages with capital letters) es un prescindible (I think your ear betrayed you: the word you need here is "imprescindible", or you are stating right the contrary of what you mean) pero solo para reducir el numero (Check spelling) de personas que pueden solicitar para el trabajo. Directemente (Check spelling, this is not Spanish) descalificar (This verb needs to be conjugated) muchas personas"

@Poli: "Solicitantes", not "aplicantes". "Aplicar" is not the same as "to apply".

Yes it is, when you talk about applying a coat of paint, for example.
