Hello! You can call me Siver or Tide, whichever works for you. I'm here to learn Spanish and I'm happy I've found this forum.
I've had a rocky start in my Spanish career. I was learning from the textbooks, and not getting anywhere. Now I am taking a different approach to learning Spanish. I hope this new approach will help me.
I am very interested in what this forum can offer me and I am excited to be a part of this community.

I hope your new approach involves some total immersion. The best way to learn Spanish is to surround yourself with it. Listening to native speakers using the language and communicating with them is your best bet. Reading aloud from a favorite novel that has been translated into Spanish would also help you a lot.
