Which preposition?
Hello!
![]() Me crié en un país francófono, pues hablo ambos el inglés y el francés con fluidez. Ya trabajo como traductora a tiempo parcial en/con/de esos dos idiomas. Gracias por adelantado por su ayuda ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Rusty; December 18, 2015 at 06:32 AM. Reason: removed markup |

One of the points of strangeness to me is "ambos el inglés y el francés", which aleC improved with his suggestion using "ambos idiomas".
This entry for the word "ambos" at rae.es indicates that "ambos" is used with a plural noun, as in aleC's improvement. It appears that "ambos" is not used with two (or more) singular nouns joined by "y", as in the strange-sounding "ambos el inglés y el francés". ("Ambos" and "both" differ on this point, as "both languages" and "both English and French" are acceptable.) |

@Yoodle: Avoid "más mejor" in Spanish. "Mejor" is already a comparative, so adding "más" makes a pleonastic sentence that we don't like.
