Hola, una pregunta, ¿por qué se usa "le" y no "la"?

Todo arde si le (la ) aplicas la chispa adecuada

¿''Le'' refiere a "la chispa", no? No entiendo porque se usa ''le'' en este caso.

LE: IO = a ello (a algo, a alguna cosa, ...):

Todo arde si le aplicas (a ello) la chispa adecuada.

Remember that in Spanish the Indirect Object can be doubled.

Ok, pienso entenderlo. Entonces puedo traducirlo así?

Sometimes you use "to", I don't know if in this case you can say: "if you apply to it, or if you apply the right spark to it".
