Me presento
Soy informático británico (aunque no me ofende que un no británico me llame "inglés") y vivo en España. Hablo un inglés bastante formal, por ejemplo, con el subjuntivo. Estudié el español / castellano durante 5 años en el cole / instituto, y luego un par de meses cuando vine a España, pero intento a hablarlo como se habla cuando discrepa de como se debe hablar.

Intento hablarlo (sin "a")
En el futuro (en lugar de "porvenir")

De todos modos, tienes un español excelente

Gracias por las correcciones. El segundo sería ejemplo de español de la calle, ¿no? Pues no veo esa aceptación en el Diccionario esencial de la lengua española de la RAE.

"porvenir" it's more used for happenings of a person/group

"El porvenir de la humanidad lo decidirá el correcto aprovecahmiento de los recursos"
"Decide ya que Universidad quieres, es importante para tu porvenir"

@David: yo diría que sí... según yo, la abreviatura es "Utilízase también como sustantivo masculino".
