in other words what is a better way of saying como chingas without using those exact words but that conveys the meaning? in our skit the character has been stopped by the police and she is irritated at being pulled over.

There are various ways of increasing obscenity:

What a pain
What a pain in the neck
What a pain in the butt
What a pain .....

I believe she wanted the Spanish equivalent of what appears in the title.

Here are a couple:
¡Cómo me molestas!
¡Cómo me fastidias!

Exclamation Rude expression alert.

@Pia: Be careful, the verb "chingar" is very rude.

Adding to the ones proposed before:
¡Qué lata!
¡Qué fastidio!
¡Cómo molestan/molestas!

Mexican colloquial euphemisms:
¡Cómo friegan/friegas!
¡Cómo muelen/mueles!

thank you all so much.

ADA - yeah i am aware of that and that's why i wanted something that implied that sentiment but not in those words.

in fact i was just having a conversation over chingas with a costudent from mexico and a profesora from nicaragua. apparently while chingas is a bad word in mexico, it isnt that bad in nicaragua. interesting huh?
