Cracked

Hello everyone:

I am translating a document that contains the words....
------cracked skin---------

to indicate that the skin is so dry it is "cracking" as in the skin of your heels during the summer months if you don't have a pedicure or if you don't apply a moisturizing lotion.

Can't find an appropriate translation for this beyond....piel reseca y partida, etc.

Can someone please help me?

I found the word in the dictionary and it means Piel arida.

That I believe it's at most the same that piel seca.

It's the consequence of the cracked skin.

If you have the arid skin, it will crack someday, then you will need to use a kind suntan lotion.

O sea, emplear una herramienta estaría mal. ¿Solo hay que usarlas?

@David: I'd say that's a correct translation as well.
