Aseo
This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for December 31, 2009
aseo (masculine noun (el)) — cleaning. Look up aseo in the dictionary Después de levantarme y antes de desayunar, tomo unos minutos para mi aseo personal. After getting up and before eating breakfast, I take a few minutes to wash my face and get cleaned up. Estoy muy cansada porque tuve que hacer el aseo de toda la casa yo sola. I'm very tired because I had to clean the whole house by myself.

El aseo del baño no es un trabajo por el cobarde (faint of heart)

Diría más bien "toilet". Eso sirve también para el sentido de "cuarto de baño".

Para mí, el aseo es personal. Para la casa yo diría limpieza: hacer limpieza de la casa.
El aseo (o cuarto de aseo) es un cuarto de baño pequeño, en ocasiones sin ducha, pero siempre con inodoro y lavabo.
